Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical and electrical components of production equipment and systems in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of processing equipment, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and upholding strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical components of production equipment and systems, including linear baggers and related processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
- Work with high and low voltage electrical systems in a safe and compliant manner.
- Inspect, service, and repair gear boxes, servo motors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment to extend equipment life and prevent unplanned failures.
- Support maintenance and repair activities involving hydraulics and pneumatics, ensuring systems operate within specifications.
- Use basic welding skills as needed to support equipment repair and fabrication tasks.
- Document maintenance activities accurately in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition to ensure compliance with all GMP standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to electro-mechanical systems and automated production equipment.
- Familiarity with maintenance repair best practices in a production facility.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with production and quality teams to resolve equipment issues.

Work Environment
This position operates in a climate-controlled, very clean manufacturing facility that follows strict GMP standards. The work environment emphasizes organization, safety, and cleanliness throughout all production and maintenance areas. Multiple shifts are available, including a 1st shift schedule of Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a 3rd shift schedule from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Team members work with modern production and processing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems, and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage maintenance activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85280.00/yr.
