Job Shift: Full Time

• Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, provide quality control of materials as required for correct processing of product.
• Inspect books for customer orders.
• Perform other duties of equal or lesser classification, including changes in department, hours (including mandatory overtime), or work conditions as directed.
• Ensure regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas, including emptying trash cans and barrels and sweeping floors as needed.
• Cross‑train and substitute tasks that may be of higher classification as required by supervision.

• High School diploma and/or GED equivalent.
• Capable of performing within production standards of efficiency and skill at an acceptable proficiency level.
• Ability to read and understand production requirements, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexible to make appropriate safety decisions regarding handling materials and responsive to changing work environments.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively and respectfully with co-workers and adhere to Brodart rules, policies and standards of conduct.
• Must be able to work in a production environment subject to varied temperatures and other conditions such as noise, dust, glue or adhesives.
• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for 8‑hour shifts and possess the ability to frequently bend and lift 40 lbs and up to 70 lbs occasionally and push book trucks weighing several hundred pounds.
• Close and distant vision, hearing and manual dexterity required.
• This position is subject to scheduled overtime which may be required based on production needs.
