We are seeking highly motivated individuals that excel in a piecework environment.

We are currently looking for qualified individuals interested in a Upholstery position at our Ferdinand Indiana facility.

Upholstery

Upholstery Supervisor

• Use staple guns to attach upholstery fabric and padding to wooden frames
• Secure buttons, trim fabric, adjust fabric, fold pleats, attach skirt
• Hammer tack strips with hand tools
• Carry product from conveyor to upholstery workbench and return completed product to conveyor
• Learn what components are applied to each model
• Review upholstery tag to ensure the right fabric color is applied to the correct frame for the customer
• Other duties as assigned

• Repetitive pulling, pinching and gripping with both hands
• Recognize defective fabric or inconsistencies in the fabric
• Work scheduled hours on a regular basis, including overtime
• Work within a team
• Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions
• Willingness to cross-train on other jobs or lines as production dictates
