Manufacturing Engineer

1st Shift: Pay $37.10/hr; 2nd Shift: Pay $41.90/hr (OT Required).

Responsibilities
  • Respond rapidly to plant issues and emergencies, serving as the technical expert for unplanned events
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and tooling problems to minimize downtime
  • Lead, plan, and implement repairs, modifications, and improvements to manufacturing equipment and tools
  • Recommend and establish preventive maintenance procedures and ensure proper equipment release to production
  • Initiate and drive Kaizen events to maximize line output, efficiency, and quality
  • Utilize digital management systems for maintenance, tooling, and purchasing
  • Innovate and implement cost reduction, safety, ergonomic, and quality enhancement initiatives
  • Model and enforce OSHA, Carrier EHS, and environmental safety standards
  • Foster positive relationships with union representatives in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance, tool room, and production teams
Required Skills and Experience
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing engineering or plant technical support
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in equipment and tooling
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and manufacturing systems
  • Ability to lead and execute process improvement and Kaizen events
  • Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and EHS policies
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
