Summary:

As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy‑duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug‑in hybrids. At Magna, you will be part of an international, dynamic team committed to delivering high‑quality products and shaping the future of mobility.

• Operate sit‑down forklift to load/unload materials.
• Manage goods and means of transport, movements of goods (physical and ERP side).
• Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and following all safety policies and procedures.
• Record all material movement within the ERP system to ensure 100%+ inventory accuracy.
• Stage, scan and load outbound shipments in a timely manner.
• Keep and organize finished goods and dock area.
• Unload inbound customer‑owned dunnage and perform incoming checks.
• Perform shift pre‑inspections as outlined by OSHA on all material handling equipment.
• Observe and report maintenance issues on forklift, including shift assessments.
• Maintain forklift certification, and attend update training as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company and 5S standards.
• Support plant‑wide material organization and housekeeping goals.
• Consistently follow PPE requirements, safety guidelines, and inventory control procedures.
• Perform other duties, as required.

• At least 3 year of experience operating a forklift, prefer experience with sit‑downs.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive.
• Must have flexibility in schedule to ensure duties are completed within time frame.
• Must be able to stand on feet at least 8 hours per day and perform physical tasks including lifting to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and frequent bending, squatting, and reaching.
