Brake Press Operator - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Obtain and apply information from the Work Instruction File.
• Set up and program new Work Instruction File.
• Set up and operate press brake and computer by following machine setup sheets.
• Test and inspect equipment.
• Test and inspect product to blueprint specifications.
• Inspect product for compliance to requirements and sign‑off for first‑piece approval.
• Utilize and complete documentation as required.
• Understand and follow policy procedures.
• Prepare product for transfer to the next work cell.
• Shut down and store computer and equipment.
• Document and record all work done in the work cell.
• Train others in the respective work cell to assure good quality parts are produced in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure general maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
• Comply with ISO policies and procedures.

• Operate associated metal fabrication machinery: surface grinder, turret press, surface graining and edge deburring machines, assembly, cleaning, and packing.
• Other duties as assigned.
• After demonstrating competency, may be required to train others in similar roles.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in metal fabrication.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Team‑oriented.
