Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, you will lead plant operations and process improvement efforts by guiding teams to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost targets. You will identify and resolve production constraints, ensure resources are aligned to daily plans, and foster an engaged, team-oriented workforce that drives continuous improvement and business results.
Responsibilities- Lead team members to execute daily production plans that meet quality, productivity, and cost standards.
- Identify operational issues or bottlenecks and lead structured, team-based problem‑solving efforts to resolve them.
- Monitor production performance to ensure established standards are maintained.
- Support employee development through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Support sanitation and operations activities to maintain a clean, food‑safe manufacturing environment.
- Ensure adherence to plant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Promote plant and company safety programs and comply with defined safety requirements.
- Participate in development of daily plans and delivery of daily line performance.
- Drive execution and sustainment of standard work to achieve daily direction‑setting results.
- Lead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment between shifts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience (preferred).
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Essential tasks include walking through the facility, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks that require hand‑eye coordination. You may need to lift or carry materials of varying weight and size. The environment has large moving equipment, high noise levels, and variable temperatures.
CompensationPay range: $64,000 – $95,000 per year. The actual salary is based on location, experience, and skill set, balanced with internal equity. Conagra Brands complies with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
