Production rework and fan repair technician location:
Avilla, Indiana
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Enjoy a 4-day work week with occasional overtime available on Fridays based on production needs. Pay:
Starting at $20.00 per hour and up based on experience.

Position summary:
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined production rework and fan repair technician to join our team. This hands-on position involves repairing, rebuilding, balancing, and testing industrial fans and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools, electrical assembly skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems.
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble fans following work instructions, blueprints, and schematics
- Perform repairs, rework, and modifications on fans and related equipment
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Operate computerized fan balancing equipment and enter production data into computer systems
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing, and production activities
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals and customer requirements
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing, production, repair, or electrical assembly experience preferred. MIG welding experience is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Basic computer skills and ability to learn computerized balancing equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
