Location: New Whiteland

The Production Operator / Associate supports high-volume Clean & Screen (CNS) operations within Sagent’s Indy facility (Whiteland, IN). This role is responsible for the preparation, screening, and movement of telecom network equipment—such as router- and gateway-type devices—through defined production processes. The position is intentionally production-focused and process-driven, emphasizing consistency, quality, and throughput rather than technical troubleshooting or repair.

Production Operators play a critical role in ensuring equipment is properly cleaned, inspected, screened, documented, and prepared for the next stage of processing or deployment while adhering to established work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Shift

Hours:

1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. Flexibility may be required depending on business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Perform Clean & Screen production activities by following detailed written and verbal work instructions
  • Conduct functional testing and basic operational screening of telecom network equipment using provided instructions, tools, and processes
  • Support RF testing and system screening activities under established procedures and supervision
  • Load firmware, complete configuration steps, and validate results as instructed
  • Perform cosmetic inspections, cleaning, labeling, and unit preparation
  • Assist with quality screening and basic quality control (QC) checks to ensure product standards are met
  • Accurately document/record test, production, screening, and inspection results in system tools, logs, or trackers
  • Move materials, equipment, and units between workstations to maintain production flow and throughput
  • Crosstrain and provide support across multiple production or operational areas as business/production demand requires
  • Identify and escalate process issues, defects, or concerns to leads or supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and operational guidelines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience, Education, Certifications, Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production, warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly environment preferred
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and system navigation
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Ability to work assigned shift and overtime as required by business needs

  • Exposure to moderate noise levels and standard production floor conditions
