CNC Machinist - Lathe - 1st Shift
Location:
Indianapolis, Indiana
Compensation: $26–$32/hr (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm (no mandatory overtime; voluntary overtime available).

- Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, and turning centers
- Produce precision pump components to close tolerances
- Work a variety of parts and setups – no two days exactly the same
- Read and interpret engineering prints including GD&T
- Use precision measurement instruments – micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Perform equipment preventative maintenance
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- 3–5 years of machining experience
- Able to perform difficult setups and run machines independently
- Comfortable reading engineering prints with GD&T
- Skilled with precision measuring instruments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical certification a plus
- Strong attention to detail and takes pride in quality work
