As our new Continuous Improvement Specialist
, you will be identifying and implementing strategies to optimize organizational processes using Lean, Theory of Constraints, Six Sigma, and other methodologies — leading value stream activities and coaching teams across the organization to achieve lasting operational excellence. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well‑being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Continuous Improvement team, you'll create impact by leading cross‑functional improvement initiatives that reduce lead times, lower costs, and strengthen quality across our manufacturing operations to support Grundfos's corporate growth goals.

Your main responsibilities are to:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify improvement opportunities, then apply Lean, TOC, and Six Sigma tools to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation across Sales, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Quality, and other departments.
  • Manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously from concept through execution, providing regular status updates and visibility to leadership.
  • Train, mentor, and coach individuals across the organization in CI methodologies, fostering a team‑oriented and change‑driven culture.
  • Leverage data analysis and visualization tools such as Minitab and Power BI to drive informed decision‑making and track the impact of implemented changes.
  • Champion change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices.
What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a data‑driven problem solver with hands‑on experience in Lean, TOC, or Six Sigma methodologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to influence and coach others across a manufacturing organization. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, process engineering, quality, or continuous improvement.
  • Technical proficiency in Lean, Theory of Constraints, and/or Six Sigma process improvement techniques.
  • Ability to lead through influence.
  • Project planning and management, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer competency with Microsoft Excel, Minitab, Power BI, and ERP systems.

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Lean, TOC, and/or Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems.
  • Understanding of pump/rotating equipment principles or knowledge of international standards (HI, UL, FM, NFPA, NSF, CE, DOE).
Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well‑being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on‑demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.
