Pro Resources is seeking a 1st CNC Lathe Machinist for a client in Avilla, IN. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support our machining department by programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe equipment while producing high-quality parts in a safe and efficient environment. Shift and Compensation 1st Shift Pay is from 24 USD / hour Job Duties Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to determine machining requirements Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes, including Mazak equipment Load, unload, and monitor parts throughout the machining process Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other measuring tools Adjust machine controls as needed to maintain quality standards and tolerances Assist with process improvements and development of standard operating procedures Provide technical support and guidance to team members when needed Work closely with production leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Operate a forklift to move and organize materials and finished products Background Profile High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 5 years of CNC turning and programming experience Experience programming Mazak lathes required Strong understanding of tooling, tool maintenance, and machining practices Ability to read and use OD and s Experience indicating parts using a 4-jaw chuck Clausing lathe experience is a plus Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills Ability to convert fractions and decimals accurately Excellent time management and organizational skills Reliable team player with a strong work ethic
