Production Supervisor - manufacturing

Production Supervisor needed at a beverage manufacturing facility on the west side of Indianapolis. This is a large modern facility where through continued growth and operational expansion has created positions for Production Supervisors.

• Supervise a production team of approximately 15-20 employees.
• Perform and oversee production line changeovers 3-5 times per day as different products are scheduled to be run on the production line.
• Verify equipment is properly set up following each changeover and perform a first item is inspected before production is started.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and line performance.
• Promote and maintain 5S workplace organization standards.
• Monitor production performance goals, safety and quality.

• 5 or more years of experience as a Supervisor or Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Supervisor or a Supervisor in an Industrial setting.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a production team of approximately 15 or more employees.
• Ability to read machine drawings, setup instructions and process specifications to complete production line changeovers.
• Prior experience or knowledge of 5S principles is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience may include production supervision, manufacturing supervision, production line changeovers, manufacturing operations, team leadership in manufacturing, team leadership in quality, production improvement and continuous improvement.
