Production Floater – Merit Steel (Kouts, Indiana)

Location:

Merit Steel, Kouts, Indiana.

• Coordinate with supervisor at the beginning of each shift to determine required job functions for the day.
• Assume various roles within operations as needed, including positions in the annealing department, shipping department, and machine operation.
• Supply wire drawing machines with proper carriers.
• Perform plant housekeeping duties.
• Fill propane as required.
• Operate and inspect the sweeper.
• Dump lubricant barrels.
• Dispose of garbage.
• Practice good safety techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficient in following verbal and written instructions accurately.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
