Butler, IN

Shift: Second Shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) or Third Shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

Pay: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour depending on position, experience, and work history

We are currently hiring experienced and motivated Steel Slitter Operators to join a leading steel processing company in Butler, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, professional manufacturing environment with direct hire opportunities.

• Operate steel slitting equipment safely and efficiently
• Set up slitting machines according to production specifications
• Monitor material quality throughout the production process
• Adjust machine settings to maintain proper strip width and quality
• Inspect finished material for defects and accuracy
• Complete production documentation and quality checks
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals

• Previous slitting machine experience preferred
• Manufacturing or steel processing experience is a plus
• Ability to read tape measures and production specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
