• Assist the Non Ferrous Sorter in sorting and processing nonferrous materials.
• Prepare materials for sale by segregating and cleaning
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials
• Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that involves standing and walking for extended periods
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Proficiency in basic math skills and computer skills
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Physical stamina and endurance to work in all weather conditions and for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
