Shift: Mon-Fri:
Various shift schedules, will be discussed during an interview

Salary: $16.50 hourly, plus production bonuses

Shift Differential:
Additional $2.00/hr for time worked between 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

• Performs routine operations including the opening of sample bags, creating accessions and batches, ordering proper test(s), and applying bar code labels.
• Scans Chain of Custody (CoC) forms, ensuring proper orientation and reproducible documents.
• Determines if proper aliquot achieved; may be required to hand pour aliquots using bulb pipettes.
• Separates out samples that require additional attention.
• Keys in client and donor information noting any deficiencies after being signed off for the operation by the Team Lead.
• May perform additional duties including transporting batches to other departments, placing or pulling samples from freezer storage, while assuring proper chain of custody.
• Follows all laboratory policies and procedures; adheres to all health and safety standards.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Experience working in a lab or high-volume production environment (Preferred).
• Ability to interpret and follow complex, written instructions (Required).
• Strong attention to detail (Required).
• Ability to work independently as well as to communicate effectively in a team environment (Required).
• Data entry skills via a keyboard (alpha and numeric) (Required).
• Strong hand-eye coordination (Required).
• Physical demands include standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 25 lbs, bending and carrying.
