Pro Resources is seeking a motivated and results-driven Department Leader to oversee daily operations with in a restroom trailer manufacturing department. This role is responsible for leading a team of production team members, ensuring safety, maintaining quality standards, meeting production goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
Shiftand Compensation 1st Shift
Compensation is from 45,760 USD to 52,000 USD per year
Job Duties- Lead, coach, and develop a team of production team members
- Plan and coordinate daily department activities to meet production schedules
- Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency while ensuring customer specifications are met
- Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate production goals, expectations, and updates
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Monitor attendance, performance, and team member engagement
- Assist with team member training, onboarding, and cross-training initiatives
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to resolve production issues
- Ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and materials
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles
- Address team members' concerns professionally and promote a positive team environment
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read production schedules, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in trailer, automotive, RV, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with welding, fabrication, assembly, or production processes.
- Associate's degree or technical certification is a plus.
