Safety Technician

Location: Switz City

Our client, an agricultural industry leader, is seeking a Safety Technician to join their team. As a Safety Technician, you will be part of the harvest operations supporting safety and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong observation skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range: $22.00 on 1st shift, $25.00 on 2nd shift*
* ** Shift: 1st
** shift, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 2nd shift, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM  **(Will train on day shift for 2 weeks)*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Conduct routine and detailed line audits across harvest operational areas

+ Identify unsafe behaviors, hazards, and at-risk conditions

+ Document findings and communicate observations to relevant personnel

+ Actively intervene when unsafe acts or conditions are observed

+ Support safety program initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or equivalent

+ Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds

+ Good communication and people skills

+ Basic understanding of workplace safety principles

+

Experience with computers and ability to read/write in English
