Job Description
A local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator to join the 1st shift team.
Responsibilities- Utilize fabrication machinery to manufacture steel products such as saws, drill presses, and benders.
- Read and interpret production documents accurately.
- Use a tape measure to ensure the proper length and width of products.
- Perform drilling, tapping, marking, cutting, and punching holes in metal components.
- Maintain basic computer skills for job-related tasks.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the work area.
- Proficient in machine operation, including blueprint reading and using a tape measure.
- Experience with drill presses, saw operation, and power tools.
- Mechanical and fabrication skills are essential.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical assembly and grinding.
- Knowledge in fabrication processes and mechanical operations.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
