Job Description

A local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator to join the 1st shift team.

• Utilize fabrication machinery to manufacture steel products such as saws, drill presses, and benders.
• Read and interpret production documents accurately.
• Use a tape measure to ensure the proper length and width of products.
• Perform drilling, tapping, marking, cutting, and punching holes in metal components.
• Maintain basic computer skills for job-related tasks.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work area.

• Proficient in machine operation, including blueprint reading and using a tape measure.
• Experience with drill presses, saw operation, and power tools.
• Mechanical and fabrication skills are essential.

• Experience in mechanical assembly and grinding.
• Knowledge in fabrication processes and mechanical operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Indianapolis,IN.
