At JW Hicks, we are looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Knox, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add a shipping, receiving and general laborer. We have a passion for producing the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."
Requirements Shipping, Receiving and General LaborJob Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load and unload materials
- Record and enter data into ERP operating system
- Prepare and finish/package product for final shipping
- Clean and organize warehouse
- Assemble small shapes molds and cast them
- Assist in preparing mixes for casting
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor
- Ability to life 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift
- Basic computer literacy
- Must pass a post-offer drug screen and physical prior to employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required

This is a Monday-Friday, day shift position with some overtime available on Saturdays. If you are looking for steady, year around employment and have a good work history, we would love to hear from you.
