Batesville, IN Pay Rate: $18.00+ per hour (Based on experience) Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM | Monday – Friday

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes, equipment, and production techniques through cross-training.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, fabrication, industrial sewing, assembly, or warehouse environments preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate production equipment and learn specialized processes such as heat transfer application, RF welding, fabric finishing, and product inspection.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and workplace safety.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate production records.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Manual dexterity required for sewing, fabrication, inspection, packaging, and assembly tasks.
  • Ability to safely handle production materials, tools, and equipment while following safety guidelines.
Job Duties
  • Perform a variety of manufacturing and production tasks within the Surface Department, including fabrication, finishing, inspection, packaging, and industrial sewing.
  • Apply heat-transfer labels and product identification materials according to production specifications.
  • Operate and assist with RF welding processes for fabric products while maintaining quality standards.
  • Complete surging, finishing, and assembly operations on fabric components.
  • Inspect products to verify workmanship, quality, and compliance with customer and company specifications.
  • Package finished products for shipment and ensure production schedules are met.
  • Maintain production documentation and communicate quality or production concerns to supervisors.
  • Support housekeeping, organization, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Cross-train in multiple production functions to maximize workflow flexibility and team efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support manufacturing operations.
