At JW Hicks, we are looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Knox, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add an industrial painter/production assistant for our fabrication department. We have a passion for producing the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."

• Prep and paint completed parts and assemblies
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move raw materials and work in progress
• Measure and cut materials to length according to blueprints
• Inspect, prepare, finish and package products for final shipping
• Maintain raw material and product identification to ensure traceability
• Assist fabricators as needed
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition

• Experience painting with a spray gun
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift
• Positive attitude and ability and willingness to learn
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must pass a post-offer, preemployment physical and drug screen prior to employment
