Sirius Staffing is seeking a Production Technician II to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Indianapolis, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals looking to join a regulated production environment with long-term career potential.
Responsibilities- Perform aseptic manufacturing activities including component preparation, capping, inspection, and packaging.
- Support sterilization processes, equipment setup, and production readiness.
- Execute packaging and inspection activities by following batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Verify calibration of scales and confirm proper identification of materials and supplies.
- Inspect products to ensure quality, potency, and compliance with manufacturing specifications.
- Operate manufacturing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Stock and replenish production supplies as needed.
- Properly dispose of hazardous chemicals following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate production documentation while adhering to cGMP requirements.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while supporting supervisors and Production Technician III team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is a plus.
- Minimum of two (2) years of aseptic manufacturing experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility is required.
- Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices.
- Experience with packaging, visual inspection, batch records, and SOP documentation.
- Experience with vial washing and capping is highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel, are preferred.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and hazardous chemicals while wearing required PPE.
- Must possess close vision, color vision, and depth perception necessary to perform detailed inspections.
