Shipping and Receiving Associate

32381 12-hour shift, nights: 12:00PM - 12:30AM

What you will enjoy doing

  • You will adhere to safety expectations and report any unsafe practices or conditions
  • You will maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • You will Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving, including retrieving production parts, preparing shipments, and loading/unloading trucks for production parts and plant supplies
  • You will inspect and unwrap incoming parts, verify container counts, and perform visual damage checks
  • You will schedule and coordinate freight pick-ups for production parts, recycling, and other plant needs
  • You will enter sales orders and generate customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • You will operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment for deliveries, shipments, and general plant needs
  • You will maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dock area in accordance with 5S standards
  • You will perform other duties as assigned
What makes you great
  • A High School degree or GED is required
  • Experience working in a production/manufacturing and/or plant environment is required
  • Shipping / Receiving experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or Net Suite) preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Able to operate a forklift and other shipping/receiving equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
