Specialty Molding Press Operator - 2nd Shift
The molding press operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating rubber molding presses to produce high-quality molded components for a diverse range of customer industries. The position follows established work instructions, monitors production processes, performs quality checks, and ensures parts meet customer and company specifications. The operator will monitor an automated robotic inspection system that evaluates molded parts for quality and consistency.
This includes observing robot operations, identifying rejected or questionable parts, responding to basic equipment issues, and notifying the correct personnel when problems arise.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job which includes but is not limited to being able to lift / push / pull about 30 lbs. and stand 8 hours a day.
- Must be familiar with all aspects of automatic operations of a mounted rubber mold.
- Must be able to read and write, read gram scales and perform basic shop math.
- Must be able to read and understand an OD sheet to perform work in reference to machine set-up, and job specific information.
- Do required maintenance of equipment within the scope of their training, experience, and capabilities.
- Maintain product integrity and quality of molded product by checking all aspects of quality for finished product and filling out all required documentation.
- Responsible for proper set-up, identification, storage, packaging, and transportation of finished product.
- Responsible for organization and proper storage of any tools.
- Must be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned by Group Leader or Team Leader.
- Must be familiar with using a computer to perform common business orientated tasks (i.e. QAS, Excel, Word, and operation measuring equipment.)
- Must have high attention to detail and high standard of quality.
- Understand the need for cleanliness in the work environment and be willing to follow requirements to achieve / maintain it.
- Actively participate on the HPT. (High Performance Team)
Must demonstrate a strong safety work culture. Be able to recognize potential safety hazards. Work safely in the environment and be a safety role model.
Required skills include:

- High School Diploma is preferred or at least 3 years related work history
Position is on 2nd shift 3pm-11pm Starting pay is $20.25 with step wage progression based on performance Shift premium up to $1.25/hour Overtime Available Immediate Benefits Include:
