Production Operator Lilly Medicine Foundry

Responsibilities:

• Support startup activities to bring manufacturing equipment into service; become an expert in Small Molecule, Hybrid, or Biologics areas.
• Operate processes/equipment per batch records, SOPs, and work instructions to meet production schedules.
• Perform daily monitoring, testing, and cleaning to keep equipment/systems in good operating condition.
• Follow HSE requirements and apply Health & Safety/Process Safety standards to execute GMP duties.
• Recognize operational hazards and react appropriately.
• Monitor/collect equipment performance data to anticipate reliability issues.
• Troubleshoot and contact appropriate help for problems/events (spills, deviations, incidents).
• Communicate shift handover status/issues; participate in daily huddles.
• Support area operations (safety audits, procedure coordination, housekeeping, continuous improvement).
• Follow cGMP practices, hygiene/housekeeping requirements, and use required PPE.

• HS Diploma/GED.
• 2+ years of API manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the US full-time; no visa sponsorship.

• Facility/area start-up experience.
• Pharma/chemical manufacturing experience with PSM-regulated or hazardous chemicals.
• FDA guidelines and cGMP knowledge; lean manufacturing.
• Strong organization; ability to troubleshoot/triage; understand technical nomenclature and math.

• Travel: 5%; 12-hour rotating shift (2-3-3-2 alternating days/nights every 8 weeks); may require nights/weekends/holidays.

• Anticipated wage: $17.30–$34.38.
