Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Indianapolis team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembler
Location: Indianapolis, IN - Park 100
Pay Range: 1st shift $18 and 2nd shift $18.50
Shift: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 2nd shift 3:30pm - midnight
What's the Job?
- Perform general labor tasks assigned by the line supervisor, including running equipment and following written instructions.
- Participate in the remanufacturing process of mechatronic products through disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing.
- Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, hoists, and hydraulic presses safely and effectively.
- Conduct visual inspections of materials before and after assembly to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, supporting quality and safety standards.
What's Needed?
- Manufacturing experience, particularly with hands-on assembly or remanufacturing processes.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and get hands dirty.
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
