Bolt Forming Operator

Our 120,000 sq. ft. facility located in Berne, Indiana produces nuts, bolts, pins, rivets, and engine-critical components. Our fasteners are utilized in a range of vehicles across the globe, playing a crucial role in securing everything from engines to frames, wheel and brake systems, and beyond.

• Setup and operate single and/or multiple cold header machines to produce quality product of any complexity.
• Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance.
• Use scales, microscopes, micrometers, calipers and fixed gages to check and gage work.
• Load and unload product in the process using a forklift
• Must be able to read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions
• Starts machine, observes operation, inspect first run and sample work pieces to ensure part conforms to specifications.
• Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to learn
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• May need to train on a different shift
