We are a growing light industrial manufacturing company seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations, drive productivity, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production employees, coordinating workflow, meeting production schedules, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and positive work environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, problem solver, and team leader with manufacturing experience.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support production personnel during daily operations.
- Ensure production schedules and customer delivery requirements are met.
- Monitor product quality and compliance with company standards.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance and engagement.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Leadership teams.
- Track production metrics and prepare reports as required.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization preferred.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
