We're partnering with an established industrial manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee production operations and lead hourly personnel in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced operations, prioritizes safety, and enjoys leading union and non-union teams to achieve production goals.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and supervise hourly production employees during assigned shifts
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
- Coordinate production schedules, staffing plans, and daily plant operations
- Troubleshoot operational issues and minimize downtime
- Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, contractors, and customers
- Investigate and communicate safety incidents and operational concerns
- Manage overtime, workforce planning, and shift readiness
- Drive operational excellence, productivity, and quality standards
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, industrial, steel, mining, chemical, or heavy industrial environment
- Experience leading teams in a union setting preferred
- Strong safety mindset and operational leadership skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production challenges
- Comfortable working in a 24/7 operation and supporting off-shift needs
- High School Diploma required;
Associate's Degree preferred

: $85-95k base
