Location: Rome City

Pro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Production Assembly Supervisor in Rome City, IN. The Production Assembly Supervisor will lead and support the production assembly department. This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day assembly operations, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality. The ideal candidate has firsthand assembly experience, strong people-leadership skills, and a solid understanding of manufacturing workflows.

Job Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the production assembly team
  • Plan and assign work to meet production schedules and customer demand
  • Monitor production output, labor efficiency, and quality standards
  • Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and quality concerns
  • Train, coach, and develop assembly employees to improve performance and skills
  • Enforce safety rules, procedures, and company policies
  • Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, and Engineering as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area
  • Provide performance feedback and support corrective action when necessary
Background Profile
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production assembly environment
  • Prior supervisory, lead, or team-lead experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of assembly processes and production workflows
  • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and BOMs
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supervising mechanical or electromechanical assembly teams
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
  • ERP or production tracking system experience
