HELP US CUT WITH PRECISION AND BUILD WITH PURPOSE.
POLYWOOD® is looking for a Pathfinder Operator who enjoys hands-on, technical work and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality materials. In this role, you'll operate our automated fabric cutting system to ensure our sewing and upholstery teams receive clean, consistent parts that keep production moving.
Pay andSchedule:
- 1st shift: Mon-Fri, 6:00am - 2:30p, starting at $18.00/h
- Full-time, permanent position
- Paid weekly. Every Thursday!
- Operate the Automated Fabric Cutting Pathfinder, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient cutting of materials
- Load fabric rolls onto the cutting table and align materials for optimal layout and minimal waste
- Review cutting files and programs based on production schedules and part requirements
- Monitor the machine during operation and perform regular quality checks on cut pieces
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the cutter (e.g., blade checks, calibration, alignment)
- Organize and label cut parts for delivery to the sewing or upholstery teams
- Maintain a clean, organized cutting area and follow safety protocols
- Experience operating automated or CNC cutting equipment, preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret patterns or digital cut files
- Basic mechanical skills and comfort with machine interface screens
- Ability to lift and handle large fabric rolls (up to 50 lbs)
- Pathfinder experience is a plus

- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training a plus
