Metal Finishing / Grinding Technician (FIRST SHIFT) (Auto Body Experience Welcome)

Pay: $18–$25/hr. (based on experience)

Indianapolis, IN

Schedule:

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 6am-2:30pm

We’re looking for hands‑on individuals to grind and finish metal parts to a clean, paint‑ready surface in a production environment.

• Grind and smooth welds on metal parts
• Sand and prep surfaces for high‑quality paint finish
• Use hand grinders, sanders, and power tools
• Inspect parts for scratches, pits, or defects
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining required finish quality

• Experience with grinding, sanding, polishing, or finishing
  (auto body, fabrication, or similar work is a strong plus)
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to balance speed and quality in a production environment
• Good judgment to know when a part meets spec vs. needs additional work
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
