Pay

Range

$89,300.00-$ Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

As our Materials Manager
, you'll be at the center of the action.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, operational performance, and the overall success of the facility.

What You'll Be Doing

Your days will be a mix of planning, problem-solving, and leading people.

You'll:

  • Responsible for planning, ordering, and procuring raw materials to support production requirements while analyzing inventory levels and demand forecasts to ensure material availability.
  • Adjust production schedules and priorities based on changing business needs
  • Partner closely with customer service, production, and operations teams
  • Lead warehouse operations and oversee a team of 16 employees, ensuring products move efficiently through receiving, storage, and shipment.
  • Monitor cycle counts and inventory accuracy, helping identify discrepancies before they become larger issues
  • Review labor utilization and overtime needs while supporting a productive and engaged warehouse team
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics
  • Manage packaging and semi-finished goods inventory to support uninterrupted production
  • Drive continuous improvements in safety, efficiency, and cost control throughout the distribution function
  • Ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available to support production.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a leader who can balance strategy and execution while thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse and inventory management in a manufacturing environment, 2 years of supervisory experience, and 1 year of purchasing and forecasting experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in adhering to quality management systems.
  • Experience maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or ERP warehouse management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word , Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proven ability to set and control inventory, Solid.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to support after hour calls and work extended hours, Solid.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proven analytical and quality improvement ability
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
