Perfect Placement Group is recruiting Production / Packline Associates for an established, family-owned steel processing manufacturer in Butler, Indiana.
This can be a strong opportunity for someone with a stable work history who is comfortable in an industrial environment, wants a consistent schedule, and would like the opportunity to learn additional manufacturing skills over time.
This is direct hire with the company
, not a temporary assignment.
Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM as production requires
2nd ShiftMonday-Thursday: 4:30 PM-3:00 AM
Friday: 4:30 PM-1:0 AM as production requires
Second shift includes a $1/hour shift differential

The core schedule is four 10-hour days. During higher-volume periods, Friday overtime may be required.
What You'll DoPackline employees work at the end of the steel-processing operation preparing finished material for shipment to customers.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Banding and securing finished steel products
- Preparing finished material for shipment
- Checking product labels, tags, and identification numbers for accuracy
- Helping ensure customers receive the correct material
- Working safely around production equipment and material-handling activity
- Potentially operating a forklift as business needs require
- Keeping pace with production while maintaining accuracy and safety
Prior steel experience is not required for the right candidate.

Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, material-handling, or other physically active work experience can translate well.

This is a steel-processing plant. The work includes:
- Spending significant time standing and moving on concrete floors
- Working 10-hour production shifts

This is not extraordinarily heavy manual labor, but a 10-hour industrial shift can be an adjustment for someone coming from a less active work environment.
