Job DescriptionAs a Line Leader you will be responsible for managing the total operation of the production line to maximize performance within established safety, quality, and cost parameters.
The Line Leader should have:- Proven ability to coach, mentor, energize, and engage hourly and salary team members
- Strong desire and drive to learn new systems and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office, including experience using Excel for data analysis
- Change management experience, with clear vision and ability to think strategically
- Serve as a customer liaison and ensure customer quality requirements are met
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for increased productivity and quality
- Drive to key performance goals for production lines
- Work with various departments on short term and long-term projects
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- 3-5 years experience supervising people and processes in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in glass container manufacturing is highly preferred
- Significant understanding of Flow Manufacturing concepts that use Continuous Improvement and Kaizen events
- Availability to support 24/7 operations
Salary Range:The expected salary range for this position is between$90,000 - $115,000
and includes a possible
12%quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
