Rough Cut Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate rough cut machinery (Waterjet/Combi-Cut, saw) and monitor its operation to ensure correct performance.
• Perform quality checks as required.
• Interpret blueprint drawings and sketches to plan cuts.
• Set up and operate cutting machinery.
• Maintain accurate documentation for material received, moved, scrapped, and quality verified.
• Conduct visual inspections of equipment with complex parts and perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift safely.
• Cross‑train on multiple types of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanically inclined and able to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of multitasking.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Self‑motivated and direct in communication with a sense of urgency.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills required.

• Work at varying heights, including rooftop.
• Lift up to 60 lbs.; push/pull 100 lbs.
• Stand on feet for long periods during a shift up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks.
• Walk up and down steps multiple times during shift; bend over multiple times during shift.
• Wear PPE provided by Cambria.
• Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 – $22.66. Salary/Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is influenced by work location, job‑related experience, education, and training.
