Job Summary

Our Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring that products are produced in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. A Machine Operator has experience working in a food manufacturing environment and a commitment to quality and safety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and monitor production equipment following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that products are produced in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment, to ensure that machinesoperateat peak efficiency.

Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to production equipment as needed to minimize downtime.

Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), Lock Out Tag Outproceduresetc.

Adhere to thecompanypolicies and practices.

Monitor and report updates for the production process toidentifyand correct issues that may affect product quality or consistency.

Maintainaccuraterecords of production activities, such as equipment performance and product yields.

Communicate with other plant personnelregardingproduction schedules, equipment issues, and product quality.

Participate in training programs to develop knowledge and skills related to production equipment and processes.

Maintains a clean work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Proficiency of the English language (read, write, and speak English)
