Our client is looking for a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join their growing team!
- Evaluate work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specs, drawings, reference planes, and interpret GD&T
- Program mills and lathes including zero and reference points, tool registers, offsets, compensation etc
- Set up, install and adjust chucks, tools, attachments, bushings, cams, gears, stops, etc
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample pieces
- Maintain specifications by observing the processes, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls and sharpening tools
- Follow all safety and quality guidelines
- Keep proper documentation
- Wear proper PPE
- HS Diploma or GED is required
- Vocational training, apprenticeship or equivalent
- Must be a US Person according to ITAR guidelines
- 5 years in 3 axis CNC machining
- 5 years CNC programming
- Experience working with precision measurement tools
- Ability to program and operate mills and lathes
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents
- Experience with CAD/CAM, Inventory or MasterCAM
- Must have good math skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
