At JW Hicks, we are always looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Knox, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add a
1st Shift Team Lead to our Slidegate Plant.

We have a passion to produce the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."

• Make work assignments for Refractory Finishers and Material Handlers
• Train teammates to properly complete taasks
• Ensure all safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Track and improve scrap rates and overall yield
• Maintain raw material and product identification to ensure traceability
• Participate in discipline and review process for team members
• Assist team members when necessary to ensure production demands are met
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors

• 2+ years' supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years' experience operating machinery and equipment
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. and physically perform responsibilities
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and interpret mechanical drawings
• Postive attitude and drive to improve company capabilities and profitabitability
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to employment
