Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands? Looking to build a career with an industry leader in advanced manufacturing? Hurco Companies is growing our Manufacturing team at our Indianapolis headquarters and is looking for Manufacturing Technicians to join us.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll receive hands-on training while assembling, configuring, testing, and preparing world-class CNC machine tools for customers around the globe. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience or a technical education who enjoy troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
This is a full-time, first shift role on the Northwest side of Indianapolis.
What You'll Do- Install and test machine options and accessories according to established procedures.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components on CNC machine tools.
- Perform machine testing to verify performance, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments.
- Document mechanical issues and material discrepancies.
- Prepare completed machines for shipment by securing them to skids and applying protective packaging.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (forklift experience is a plus).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- 2+ years of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, maintenance, or related experience or an Associate degree in a technical field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and procedures.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift, move, and work around large industrial equipment.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
