CNC Machinist

We're searching for an experienced CNC programmer that can join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience programming and setting up CNCs; our machines are Mazak, so experience with them would be preferable. This role is crucial for producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications.

• Program CNCs according to drawings/blueprints
• Set up CNC machines, producing parts to their exact specs.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
• Utilize CAD software for programming machine operations.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines, to verify part dimensions. This includes running programs made for the CMM, programmed by other employees.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the machining process to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

• Proficiency in CNC programming with hands-on experience setting up and programming various types of CNC equipment.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, hand tools, and machining techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• CAD/CAM experience is required.
