A 9/80 compressed work week means an employee works 80 hours over nine days in a two‑week period. Generally, this means working nine hours Monday ‑ Thursday, with alternating eight‑hour Fridays and “off” Fridays. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

As a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker, you will plan and make bench layouts, fabricate and repair a wide variety of tooling; holding extremely close tolerances.

Plan and make bench layouts of a variety of tools, gages, dies, jigs, fixtures, special machine parts and attachments, etc. holding extremely close tolerances Perform first-article, in-process, and final dimension inspections Load, execute, modify, write, and troubleshoot CMM programs Perform routine calibration checks and preventative maintenance on CMM probes and tools Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment such as sine bars, height gauges, gate blocks, indicators, micrometers, standard gauges, etc.

Work from blueprints, sketches, 3‑D models, verbal and written instructions Handle parts manually or with the aid of material handling equipment.

High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) Must have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training 8 years of experience to qualify as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Training and experience in the fabrication of tooling and the set up and operation of tool room machines with knowledge of blueprint reading and shop math, including trigonometry and GD&T principles

Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
