Job Summary The Rebuild Technician for Diffs is responsible for the teardown, inspection, cleaning, preparation, repair, and assembly support of differential components and assemblies. This position follows established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures to ensure products are processed accurately and efficiently throughout the remanufacturing process. The Differential Technician operates a variety of tools and equipment, performs component inspections, supports production flow, and identifies quality or repair concerns.

Working collaboratively with Team Leaders and other production departments, this role helps maintain productivity, quality, and safety objectives while contributing to continuous improvement efforts and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Who We Are Weller Truck Parts began its history in Muskegon, Michigan in 1928 when Harry Weller, a small body shop owner, found value in recycled parts for the auto industry. The small business thrived so much that in 1949, Harry moved Weller Truck Parts to nearby Grand Rapids, MI. Since that time, Weller Truck Parts has continued to grow under the direction of the Weller family.

In 2014, Weller became a member of the Jasper Holding family of companies and a 100% Associate Owned ESOP. Today, Weller continues to grow and out-service the competition by providing an engineered solution for efficient and cost-effective repair, removing the otherwise defunct units and parts from the path to a landfill.
