Ink Room Coordinator |

Compensation:

• Starting rate of $19.00 an hour (Based on experience)

Available

Shifts:

• 7am-3pm
• (Monday-Friday) schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works safely and is proactively involved in plant safety improvement efforts.
• Be able to perform cross-functionally with other departments
• Highly organized and efficient with good time management skills
• Must be able to drive and become certified on a forklift and pallet jack
• Prepares all plant press changeovers.
• Maintains all ink kitchen parts, plates, ink pumps, ink trays, cylinders and supplies needed for the press. Reports all maintenance issues and parts shortages to management.
• Completes and turns in the Ink Kitchen Coordinator Daily Standard Work forms
• Interprets work orders and order specifications to shift employees, as necessary.
• Spot checks product quality and ensures specifications are being met and quality procedures are being followed.
• Recommends measures to improve ink quality, training, equipment performance, quality of product, and reduction of waste.
• Responsible for all cleaning of ink kitchen and changeover parts and areas as needed.
• Follows company policies, GMP, OSHA rules and regulations.
• Communicates regularly and effectively with in-coming and off-going shift leaders about current and upcoming changeovers.
• All other projects and duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shift.
• Work overtime as required.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
