1st Shift Extruder 2 Associate

Hours:

6:00AM-2:00PM(must report 15 minutes prior and remain 15 after shift for changeover)
Pay rate:$19.08

The Extruder 2 Associate supports the extrusion department by assisting with machine operation, material handling, product quality, and production activities. This position works closely with the Extruder Team to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to established quality standards.

• Assist with the operation of extrusion equipment and production machinery.
• Load and move raw materials and finished products as needed.
• Monitor the extrusion process and watch for quality or production issues.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished products.
• Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments as directed.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with troubleshooting and report equipment or product issues to the appropriate team member.
• Perform routine production tasks to keep the extrusion line running efficiently.
• Work as part of a team to meet production, quality, and waste-reduction goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and in a production environment.
• Must be able to follow all safety requirements, including proper PPE.
