Furnace Operator Night Shift Heat Treat Facility
Location:
Fremont IN
Schedule:
Sunday through Wednesday 600 PM to 600 AM
Pay: 20 per hour
About the PositionWe are looking for a dependable and hardworking Furnace Operator to join our team at our heat-treating facility in Fremont IN. In this role you will be responsible for operating production furnaces, monitoring heat treating processes, and ensuring finished parts meet customer quality standards.
Responsibilities- Operate industrial furnaces and related heat treat equipment
- Load and unload racks of metal parts safely and efficiently
- Monitor temperatures and process settings throughout each cycle
- Inspect finished parts for quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
- Previous manufacturing or furnace experience preferred but training is available for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance is required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Overtime opportunities after 40 hours
- Three consecutive days off every week Sunday through Tuesday
