Laser Setup​/Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated 2nd Shift Laser Setup/Operator to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating laser machinery to produce high-quality products. Responsibilities Set up and calibrate laser cutting and engraving machines according to specifications.

Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and product quality.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine product specifications.

Maintain accurate records of production data and machine settings.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in laser operations is a plus.

Proven experience as a laser operator or in a similar role.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Familiarity with safety standards and practices related to laser operations.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
