What

We Need

Eight Eleven’s in-house marketing team is looking to hire a full-time Social Media Strategist. The Social Media Strategist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing social media strategies across multiple brands and businesses for the Eight Eleven Family of Companies. This role plays a critical part in growing brand awareness, increasing engagement, and driving business goals through compelling content, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration.

As a key contributor to the marketing team, the Social Media Strategist will work closely with internal content creators, designers, and marketing leadership to implement campaigns that align with the company’s overall brand strategy. The ideal candidate has a mix of creativity, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices.

  • Develop and implement multi-channel social media strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Own the content calendar, ensuring a mix of brand storytelling, thought leadership, and engagement-driven posts.
  • Oversee daily social media management, including scheduling, publishing, and responding to engagement across Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
  • Optimize content strategies based on social listening, trend analysis, and audience insights.
  • Experiment with new content formats (e.g., short-form video, interactive content, user-generated content) to enhance brand engagement.
Performance Analysis & Optimization (15%)
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, sentiment analysis, etc.), providing actionable insights.
  • Use A/B testing and analytics tools to refine content strategy and increase ROI on paid and organic social campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to adjust strategies based on performance data and market trends.
Content Development & Brand Messaging (15%)
  • Partner with the design and content teams to develop engaging, high-quality visuals and copy for social media.
  • Ensure all social content is aligned with the company’s brand voice, tone, and messaging.
  • Identify and implement SEO and keyword strategies for social posts to enhance discoverability.
  • Source and curate user-generated content (UGC) that aligns with brand storytelling.
Social Engagement & Community Growth (10%)
  • Foster community growth by engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and driving brand conversations.
  • Develop social media campaigns that encourage interaction and brand advocacy.
  • Identify and engage with influencers, partners, and brand advocates to amplify reach and credibility.
Event & Campaign Support (10%)
  • Work with the events and marketing team to support promotions for company events, job fairs, and special initiatives.
  • Develop pre-event, live-event, and post-event social media strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to capture and document pre-event, live-event, and post-event content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across listings, events, and other company promotions.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
